The northwest’s major communities.
Skye Canyon
Master planCity of LVAt I-11/US-95 and Skye Canyon Park Drive, planned for about 6,500 homes. Century Communities became master developer in 2020. A City park and police substation are under construction, targeted for early 2027.
Providence

- Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs — a 680-acre City of Las Vegas park with ponds and a historic ranch.
- Mount Charleston and the Spring Mountains are the backdrop for the far northwest communities.
Getting around
Roads and growth.
The US-95 corridor through the northwest is now co-signed as I-11, and the Centennial Bowl interchange with the 215 Beltway was completed in December 2023. Centennial Hills Hospital (339 beds) opened in 2008.
Growth is not finished. The City’s Kyle Canyon planning district, which includes Skye Canyon and Sunstone, covers more than 3,400 acres. New-home competition affects resale pricing here more than in older parts of the valley — something we factor into every pricing opinion.
Short-term rentals inside the City of Las Vegas require the owner to be present during the rental; in unincorporated Lone Mountain, County rules apply. Short-term rental rules are set by whichever government has jurisdiction over the parcel — the City of Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas and unincorporated Clark County each run a different program.
